Marigold Route in Michoacán.
An immersive travel experience that connects visitors with the cultural, agricultural, and culinary richness of the iconic marigold flower, highlighting its importance in the Day of the Dead traditions.
The route includes: → Visits to the cultivation fields in Cuitzeo, Copándaro, and Tarímbaro, where farmers share the process of planting, harvesting, and commercialization. → Planting workshops and demonstrations on the use of marigolds in gastronomy, traditional medicine, and derivative products. → Special areas designed for photography, ensuring the crops are preserved and encouraging responsible tourism.
Tour Duration: Approximately 8 hours

Route of Pátzcuaro, Janitzio, and Urandén during the Day of the Dead Week
This route offers a deep immersion into one of Mexico’s most emblematic traditions: the Night of the Dead in the Lake Pátzcuaro region. The experience combines history, Purépecha culture, and ancestral rituals recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Includes: cultural tour, guided experience of designing the commemorative Day of the Dead arch, professional guide (Norm 08), museum entry, ticket to the canoe show in Urandén, boat trip to the island, round-trip transportation, and dinner.

Little Angels Route (Tiripetío, Tupátaro, and Cuanajo).
The Velación de los Angelitos (Vigil of the Little Angels) is one of the most emotional Day of the Dead traditions in Michoacán, where families honor deceased children with offerings full of love and symbolism. This route explores Purépecha communities with strong ancestral heritage.
Tiripetío: History and Spirituality
→ Visit to the Ex-Convent of San Agustín, one of the oldest monasteries in the Americas (16th century)

Tupátaro: Jewel of Viceregal Art

→Tour through the town: Famous for its woodcarving work

→11:45 am Join us in the main door of the Cathedral on Madero Av. (in case the
avenue is closed
the meeting point will change, you will be notified via

the WhatsApp group will be created 1 day prior to the tour, to give you
recommendations and the last details of the trip).
→12:00 pm Our first spot is Quiroga (we won’t stop until we arrive at Quiroga)
→01:30 pm Approximate arrival time at Quiroga (you can go eat wherever you prefer).
→03:00 pm We go back to our transport to go to our next spot, Santa Fe de la Laguna
→03:30 pm Approximate arrival time at Santa Fe de la Laguna (There will be a guided tour).
→04:30 pm We go back to our transport to go to our third spot, Tzintzuntzan.
→05:30 pm Arrival in Tzintzuntzan: Tour of the Atrium of the Olive Trees, the
former convent, the temple, and the cemetery; as well as learning about the local artisan techniques
traditions, and activities
→09:00 pm Departure to the pier.
→10:30 pm Approximate arrival time to the Ucazanaztacua Pier, there will be a boat tour, dinner
included at the pier, some time to take photos.
→03:30 am Return to Morelia.
→04:30 am Approximate arrival time to Morelia.
